The Result
In the first release we reduced the time it took to create and maintain reports by 25%. Over the next two releases, we reduced the time by another 35%.
The Team
I worked with a core team of a PM, principal engineer, and engineering manager. We worked with 20 engineers and I mentored two designers over the 18 month project.
The Lesson
Clearly defining the objective and constraints allowed us to create consensus both inside the project team and up the leadership chain.
