Users loved the concept and executives were initially in favor of the approach. After seeing the proposed solution and evaluating costs, executives chose not to invest.
The Team
I worked with a Product Manager, Engineer, and Finance subject matter expert to ideate and craft a prototype to which leadership could react.
The Lesson
I pushed the product team hard to pursue an ambitious idea. Next time I will work harder to ensure that our executive staff is more open to taking a calculated risk.
